The 18th season of NCIS opens with a shocking bang, then jumps back to an episode last season where Gibbs bizarrely left the squad room in the middle of a case. We stay with Gibbs and discover what mission he was on at the time, as the first several episodes take viewers through that journey, interspersed with standalone cases. Then, we return to the gripping opening scene of Season 18. The 400th episode, which will air second this season, delves into the day Gibbs met Ducky and joined NCIS.

  • Still the Best

NCIS has the cast and writing to make it a top show. The underlying story that is the foundation for the season helps to make it suspenseful while delving into the characters’ lives. I’ve enjoyed this show since the beginning.
  • Masks seem to be the focus

    By Dandanieldandaniel
Nobody watches a show to watch actors with masks. They obviously make the fact they are using masks a focus. No masks inside, but I’ll slip it on when I go in an elevator alone? No mask in the car with Torres, but I’ll slip it on to go meet my daughter that I’m going to be living with? The death story line was out of left field, and was poorly explained, but the execution was even worse.
  • Masks? Really?

    By Tim-steel
I’ve watched this show since season 3. Recently, I was praising the writers for bucking the trend and not writing in the pandemic. However, that changed with the February 9 episode. I watch NCIS to escape current reality, not to have our twisted reality shoved in my face. This is especially true when our guidelines for masks are portrayed oppositely on the show (masks on outside, but not inside, talking them off to talk). The previous episodes were filmed without masks, why change now? Besides, it’s been a long time since we had a good Gibbs slap.
  • Great show

This really is a great show but the ever changing cast is getting a bit old. The only reason I still watch is I love Mark as Gibbs.
